Chris B Rathburn, MD

Dr. Rathburn is board certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been in practice in Jacksonville since 1989. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Florida International University of Miami in 1975 and his MD from the Amercian University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Summa Health Systems Hospital in Akron, Ohio, finishing in 1984.

The office is located next to Memorial Hospital where he has a primary care office and also serves as a Hospitalist managing patients in the hospital as well as office care.

Dr. Rathburn has held various positions in the hospital, including:

Away from the office, Dr. Rathburn enjoys playing with his band, "No Known Cure" as a guitarist and vocalist. The band plays at various social functions such as dances for the American Heart and Lung Associations, and We Care Physician Talent Show at the Florida Theater for the Memorial Family Medicine Portalless. He also enjoys golf with his father and friends and taking vacations with his family.
