Arun Rao, MD

Dr. Rao has special interest in bariatric and breast surgery. She has specialized training in advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures and performs many laparoscopic and robotic operations for bariatric surgery.

She provides a full range of general surgical services including breast surgery for both benign and malignant indications. She also provides surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid and for melanoma and skin cancers.

Dr. Rao received her Doctor of Medicine from St. George University and served her residency at Morehouse School of Medicine and a Robotic and Bariatric fellowship at Florida Hospital at Celebration. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is also designated a Center of Excellence Surgeon by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
