Memorial Hospitalists is a medical group focusing on the care of hospitalized patients. This is a relatively new type of doctor who is not a primary care doctor, but one who is responsible for patients during their hospital stay. Hospitalists are immediately available seven days a week, 24 hours a day to provide on-going care to patients. These doctors partner with your personal physician to provide you with the most comprehensive care possible during your stay.
The hospitalists at Memorial Hospital have completed accredited training programs and are Board Certified in their respective primary care subspecialties. They are trained in Internal Medicine and have extensive experience in the wide range of conditions requiring hospitalization.
